DIY Project

my friend Erica and former roommate showed me her charging station several months ago and ever since I’ve wanted to create my own. I looked online for several different ideas. I also looked at what it would cost to buy one. I decided making my own was by far the better choice. I picked up a breadbox for $5 at Goodwill. Nothing terribly fancy but it does the job. I then took it out to the garage and drilled several holes that I had marked for size. After filing the holes to get rid of any rough edges I painted it white. I have white bookshelves and I think that it matches pretty well. Then I put some grippy drawer liner on the top to keep my devices safe and from slipping around on the top. I just used adhesive spray to stick it down. After all that dried I took it in and put in my power strip and ran the cords for the devices. I decided to tie up the cables to help keep heat down as best as possible, and called it good.
