Twitter

Well it appears that Ashton Kutcher is going to beat CNN in the race to 1 Million followers. I wonder if there’s gonna be a parade…EA Games is even getting involved.  Crazy…

Update: As of right now:

CNN Breaking News: 962,956

Upgrade

I finally got around to upgrading my blog today to Wordpress 2.7, and as a result I have turned comments back on.  If the Spam gets super crazy again I may disable it, but I like giving people a chance to speak up about things that interest me.

Readership of One

To the tune of Renegades of Funk:

No matter how hard you try, you can’t read this now

I’ve got a readership of one

I’ve got a readership of one

Ok, so it needs lot of work, but I thought I should post something since its been since November…

Nano, Day One

I have finished day 1 of Nano with a word count of 3,028. I’m not overly impressed with that but I am glad that I’m a little bit ahead. I plan to tackle 3,000 - 5,000 tomorrow with the hopes of getting a little bit of padding since I’m pretty sure I won’t be able to get much done during the week. I’ll be able to get 500-1,000 on weekdays so it isn’t entirely weekend writing, but knowing this in advance I’m going to do whatever I can to get ahead and stay ahead. As far as the plot and the characters I’d say it’s par for the course. I’m confident that I can make a novel that won’t make you vomit out of this yet.

Novella

I’m not going to have my novel on display this year. I’ve decided that in order to not feel like I’m doing this for someone else or for their palate, I’m doing this all for me. To prove to myself that I’m capable of finishing at least once. I have a story that wants to be written and this is the year, I can feel it. I’ll be keeping this blog up-to-date with my word count and any other interesting tidbits, but the novel won’t be here. If I know you really well I might let you read it. Maybe. If you’re one of those participating give me a shout.
